An important role in the purification of
the fuel assigned to the separation of water from the working fluid. Fuel
filters combined type (with separators) play a crucial role in extending the
life of the product.
When
removing the fuel filter, water separator which was not protected, you can
visually identify a corrosive impact on the fuel system, the growth of microflora,
defective injector nozzles, reducing the lubricating properties and the
deterioration of combustion.
Filter Donaldson are made by innovative
method. The traditional scheme of the fuel filter device (filter in the housing
top header in the flask bottom) evolved a bit and now the product manufacturer
are "upside-down" scheme. This made it possible to visually monitor the level of the resulting
water, which is much more important than the degree of contamination of the
product. This is because the separator in the fuel filter cleaning is done in
two stages:
- filtering
cyclone where the centrifugal force is displaced from moisture liquid fuel;
- cleaning
through filter material which retains any remaining moisture.
